Many residents have reported annoyance at the noise levels on Nelson Square, particularly during the night.
We have brought this issue to the attention of the council via our housing officer Debbie Ming, and our councilors.
The initial response is that Nelson Square does not fall under the remit of housing, as it is a public park, which also means the noise team is unable to deal with it.
The recommendation currently is:
- Call 101 (police non-emergency number) and report noise when it happens
- Keep a diary of disturbances
- Contact Southwark Parks
