I wasn’t particularly impressed with them.

To my mind the major use of the square is either the kids using the footy pitch or play ground, or adults sitting in the grassed area to have lunch etc. I think that should be the aim going forward. I don’t think the area under the trees gets much use, and that is why I would remove the trees and add more unshaded areas for sitting etc. Maybe keep a couple if we must, one in the middle, and one in NE corner.
